“Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.” – Maimonides

Our Mission

With 360 Education, we believe that tutoring should go beyond just providing homework help or simply just answers. With our innovative new tutoring program, our mission is to not only improve grades, but to develop motivated and self-directed learners who understand why their education matters.

Goal Based Mentorship Model

Our program uses a goal-based tutoring model. Instead of starting with worksheets or assignments, each student will start the program by sitting down with their tutor to create academically rooted, personalized goals. These goals are specific, measurable, and aligned with the student’s coursework, but also tailored to their interests, strengths, and long-term aspirations. This process transforms tutoring from transactional to transformational.

Rather than acting only as an instructor, the tutor will serve as a mentor and accountability partner, helping to guide the student toward their defined goals. Sessions are structured around measurable progress toward these goals, reinforcing consistency, reflection, and ownership.

This approach addresses the deeper roots of why students struggle in school. Academic difficulty is rarely about intelligence. More often, it stems from a lack of motivation, weak executive function skills, a limited sense of purpose, and low confidence levels.

By helping students define why their learning matters and what they are working toward, we strengthen their intrinsic motivation and shift the narrative from “I’m bad at this” to “I’m building toward something meaningful.”

Executive Function Development

Executive function, the mental skills that help students plan, focus, manage time, and complete tasks, is foundational to our program. Rather than treating executive function as a side skill, we integrate it directly into the goal-setting process.

From the first sessions, students will learn how to break large goals into manageable steps, track progress over time, reflect on setbacks and adjust strategies, and build discipline and consistency

This ensures students are not just completing assignments, but developing systems they can apply independently long after tutoring ends.

Teaching & Learning Approach

Our teaching approach blends research-backed educational theory with personalized mentorship. Our teaching method will be based on the Self-Determination Theory (SDT) to build autonomy, competence, and relatedness, and the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) to challenge students appropriately. Furthermore, we will use a scaffolding model, where we gradually release responsibility, moving from guided practice to independence

However, what distinguishes our program is the mentorship dynamic. Every lesson connects back to the student’s personalized goals. Tutors regularly revisit progress, celebrate milestones, and recalibrate strategies when needed.

We aim to answer not only, “How do I solve this problem?”, but also “Why does this matter for my goals?” and “How does this skill connect to my future?”

By consistently reinforcing purpose and progress, our goal is for students to develop intrinsic motivation, academic confidence, long-term discipline, and reduced dependency on external help.

Our tutors model humility, accountability, and consistency. They will show up prepared, admit mistakes, and create a psychologically safe environment where students feel supported but challenged.

Over time, our goal is for students to transition from needing guidance to driving their own growth.
