360 Music Tutoring

Free, personalized music lessons that help refugee students learn, grow, and find joy in making music.

360 Music Tutoring connects refugee students with volunteer musicians for free, personalized lessons. Tutors meet students at their own level, whether they’re learning their first notes or developing skills on an instrument they already play. With patient guidance, students can grow in confidence, express themselves, and discover the joy of making music. We also work with community partners and volunteers to help students get to lessons when transportation is a challenge.

Growing as Musicians and Leaders

Our tutors build supportive relationships with students through patient lessons shaped around each learner’s interests and goals. They celebrate progress, help students work through challenges, and make room for curiosity and creativity. When tutors share lesson notes, each volunteer can understand what a student has already learned and help them continue moving forward.

In 2026, student volunteers and young musicians came together through weekly lessons, mentorship, and service. Their shared effort created meaningful learning experiences and stronger connections across the community.

Read A Symphony of Giving to discover how music inspired growth and gave participants a way to give back.
